Contrary to Evolution models it is not possible to move the transmission on Twin-Cam models to the left as these models have the transmission bolted to the crankcase. The Zodiac off-set kit enables you to move your primary 12, 25, or 55mm without moving your stock or aftermarket 5 Speed transmission, or 25, or 55mm when you have a 6 Speed Zodiac transmission or conversion. All these kits come with an extended transmission main shaft and extended transmission main drive 5th gear, leaving the transmission housing in exactly the same place but allowing you to offset the front final drive pulley, thus creating space for a wide rear tire. And when we say wide we mean WIDE. The 12mm off-set kit allows the use of a 200 tire with the stock belt in an Evolution or Twin-Cam frame, the 25mm offset kit allows a 230 wide tire on a 7.50 rim in both the Evolution and Twin-Cam frame if the late type "narrow" final drive belt drive is used. If a chain is used for the final drive the stock frames will accept up to 250 wide tires on a 9.00" rim. The transmission main shaft and drive gear are CNC manufactured from High Stress 20CrMnT gear steel by one of the worlds leading automotive transmission factories. Gear and shaft are tempered and stress released to a core hardness of 35 to 45 Rockwell and have a surface hardness of 58 to 60 Rockwell. Our offset primary kits contain: primary spacer ring, extended crankshaft extension and extended crankshaft nut, extended transmission main shaft, extended main drive 5th gear with needle bearings and seal, extended belt pulley spacer, extended clutch push rod, extended starter jack shaft (only for 25, and 55mm kits), starter jack spacer, primary-to-transmission spacers and all required hardware. When you have a 1991 thru 1993 model 5 Speed transmission you must order a countershaft 5th gear, extended starter jack shaft bolt and late style final drive pulley separately. Wide swingarm and fender struts must be ordered separately
